Observations in Western Relationships
Yesterday, I was invited by an old friend and his girlfriend to play Monopoly at their house. The friend is well above-average looking and his girlfriend is a professional model. Objectively beautiful and very striking. The other couple consists of an older, rather ugly, back girl and a reasonably good looking chody white guy. I was stressed out from my job but observed some interesting social dynamics: When my friend was losing, his the girls were celebrating his defeat. As he came back, his girl became ever more resentful. After a while she got visibly agitated and started making snarky remarks, and eventually direct insults to him and anyone she interacted with. He kept his cool but was visibly under pressure. The chody guy was completely in his girlfriend’s frame and therefore didn’t participate in the frame battle.
