I can’t believe it’s already been six months since I left the comfort of Berlin to start my nomadic adventure. Italy was my first destination. Since then, I’ve been to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, and Serbia.

During my travels try to keep in touch with my strong leads. Mostly to practice my text game and learning how to maintian attraction and increase comfort over distance, i.e. long game. The return on investment is usually low, but this time I (almost) god lucky: a lead from Rome was about to visit Warsaw when I was there1.

I took the opportunity to send her on a Warsaw adventure to increase investment. If a girl likes you, she’s happy to win over your approval by completing small, fun tasks. In this case, she asked me for recommendations for a museum. Instead of just providing the information2, it’s often better to turn it into a game.

Sending her on a mission

I framed the game as an adventure where a mysterious group of people hid a dangerous painting in the Muzeum Narodowe w Warszawie. By recommending her not to go look for it, I added suspense. To make it even more interesting for her, I added a reward at the end: the “secret” location of a sky bar with a view over Warsaw3.

Here’s the thing…

What could have been a boring exchange of information, I deliberately turned into a fun challenge with an interesting reward. Through games like these, I’m drilling into her that dating me is fun and exciting.

  1. Unfortunately, I had to leave for Belgrade before she arrived, and earlier tickets for her were too expensive. ↩︎

  2. Or worse, over-investing by making a huge “top places in Warsaw specially for you because I want to impress you” list. ↩︎

  3. Another landmark she was asking for. ↩︎
