I’ve been winging with a Dutch beginner daygamer for a few sessions now. Found his post on Thomas Crown’s forum1. He’s a cool dude: surprisingly little AA for < 20 lifetime sets while still being normal2.
We did some great sets today! Well, he got 5 blowouts and one Instagram, which isn’t at all bad for his experience. I felt on fire today though! Two strong sets with solid numbers that both replied the same evening. Nice girls as well.
I wouldn’t say I’m consciously value-tapping this guy, but I definitely feel a boost to my own vibe as I’m coaching him. There’s this student/master dynamic that, on top of winged daygame, just gives me that little extra to push me into sets with a cocky attitude. The responses become better.
I like walking around and chatting to this dude. He has that same hunger that I had when I was just starting out. He doesn’t want a girlfriend, or at least wants to become better with women before settling with one. He gets it.
As for me, I’m starting to really enjoy daygame in Amsterdam. I’m getting good sets in, and the girls of today replying seem keen. I get a lay or two in before the end of this season I can see myself settling down here, at least for a while.
