Difficult daygame session today. Was quite tired from work, but my vibe was alright. After one hour of weaseling I forced myself into my first set: a weak IOI from a Greek girl living in Amsterdam. I opened her on the busy pedestrian street in the center.
She lit up. “You’ve got the same eye color than me,” I said. Turned out she was Greek, was quite into me, and happy to talk. She was laughing and enjoying herself and asking me questions. So I was surprised when she suddenly broke off the set “well, nice meeting you, I have to go.” And of course: she had a boyfriend. A Belgian one at that.
I still forced the number because the eye contact was strong. I don’t think it’ll go anywhere but we’ll see. I’m happy with the way I framed it, and was pleased to see she gave me her number, without making things awkward.
